About Western Reserve Playhouse

We began our existence in 1956 as Bath Community Players in the Old Town Hall in Bath, Ohio. In 1966 the present barn was purchased and thus began the transition from a small dedicated group of players to an outstanding Northeast Ohio Theater organization.

Situated at the Bath-Richfield township lines, close to I-271 and I-77, the theater has attracted members from all of the surrounding communities. This prompted the decision to change the name of the group to Western Reserve Playhouse.

Many thanks and appreciation to all our sponsors, advertisers and members who, over the years, have helped make our growth possible.
